Last weekend I attended an antique fair at the local fairgrounds. I was pleasantly surprised to see many delightful antique items. Most of them were out of my budget but I did walk away with some sweet Victorian paper ephemera. When I lived in southern California I used to love going to the flea markets on the weekend. This is the sort of thing I would find out there.
I like to think about how these pieces of card stock were saved for so many years and wonder who had them in a scrapbook for so long. And who they were passed on to over the decades. I especially love the images with kitties!
I was so smitten with this one that I decided to incorporate it into a new banner! This is the first time I have successfully made a banner for my blog. Yay!
Last weekend I also finished up Swoon block 3! Slowly but surely getting there...
I hope you are enjoying your weekend! Tell me, what's going on?

I, too, love collecting vintage ephemera! It is often affordable and the possibilities of use are endless! Love your new button ;-)
Thank you K! Hope you are having a good week. :)
Adorable finds!!! I'm in SoCal and I'm not taking advantage of it! :/ I've only been to the flea market at the Rose Bowl and then vintage stores in Hollywood ... I should go out more, ha.
