I am absolutely loving the fwqal. Really, really loving. Here we are at week 3 already. I am following the blocks in the order they appear in the book. Here are the Big Dipper on the left and Bat Wing on the right. If you like sewing, whether new to quilting or not, jump on in! It's so amazing to see what everyone is creating over in the flickr group. Fun times for sure!
Best. Pizza. I've. Ever.Tasted. Seriously folks. If you haven't made pizzas at home yet, what are you waiting for??!! I use Emeril Lagasse's crust recipe. I haven't had 1 disappointing crust yet!
To switch things up a bit, we had chicken tacos with black beans and brown rice the other night. Delicious! I am really loving dinner lately. ;)
I am trying my hand at planting this summer. These will *hopefully* be Dahlias sometime

Your blocks look great! I want to come have dinner at your house!
Thanks Mary! :)
Dearest sweet Laura, your blocks are so pretty and i adore the fabrics you used! Look at that yummie veggie pizza!! You are so talented sweet friend, i don't know how to make homemade pizza but thank god my mister knows. :) I should learn from him some day. Have a lovely merry happy week and love to you!
Yay! I can finally post comments here again! :D
Your quilting project looks really good! :) I hope I can send you the package soon.
And, oh, my! I could SO use a few slices of pizza right now! :p It looks yummy! I've never tried making it from scratch. David and I are on a diet, so we're skipping dinner and having shakes, instead. It really puts me on a bad mood, haha! Well, not really, but so far it's the only thing that's working, so I wanna be strong.
And, congrats on growing your own dahlias! It's super exciting to see plants sprout. You should take pictures often to document their growth.
Thanks a lot for dropping by! ;D Have a nice night, Laura!
Miki.
