Inspired By The Sea

I've been feeling inspired by the sea lately, so before my cruise trip I whipped up these seahorse wall hangings. I do love how they turned out! I machine appliqued the seahorse to the linen, and then stretched it across the embroidery hoop. As a finishing touch I hand embroidered a letter "S" beside the applique. They're in the shop now!
I really loved playing with this Denyse Schmidt for JoAnn fabric in this one. :)
Please excuse my post cruise haze. It still feels sort of like a dream. It helped that I was not only cruising with dear friends from far away, but also that it was a cruise with my favorite boy band of all time! LOL
This is a photo of me with my friend LD who lives in Arizona.
The ship was the Carnival Destiny and it was huge!
This was me in the morning on board before taking the tender over to Half Moon Cay.

I'll close with a video of Joe and Jon goofing around during the Sail Away Party on the Lido Deck. I promise I am slowly getting back into sewing. Promise. ;)

Haham funny video! ;) It's so cool that you got to go on a cruise with your favorite boy band! Oh, my! Who are they? If you say NKOTB, I'll be very jealous, hehe :p.

Hugs!

Nice work friend! I'm hoping to buy a new sewing machine today.... mine kind of died (my uncle might be able to fix it) so it's time.
