It's all happening outside apparently

When I got home today from taking an exam at school, I found all the pets gazing intently at something outside. Animals are so funny sometimes. Though I must say that it is a beautiful day outside and I wish I had more time to be out in it!

Last week a friend invited me over for dinner so I decided to bake some cookies to bring along. These are from this Martha Stewart cookie cookbook. I used the soft and chewy chocolate chip cookie recipe. Delish! Just the right balance between the sea salt and the chocolate.
I finished my table runner! Funny thing is that once I had all 3 blocks pieced and sewn together I realized that I sewed them together the wrong way. :( The white triangles on the edge were supposed to be sewn to the white strips down the middle. In other words, I sewed the blocks together in the wrong direction. Oh well. I like the way it turned out anyway! If you want to make one yourself visit the comfortstitching blog. Aneela created the Strawberry Split table runner and posted it on her blog. Neato!

Over the weekend, Harry was a good boy and posed for the camera. :)
This is the scene from my craft table, peeps. Mug rugs in progress! I also want to put together some other stuff for the shop. Never enough time I say!

What are you working on?

Hi, Laura! Oh, wow, you've been doing lots of things! How was the exam? Best luck with the mark! ;)

Hahaha, I love the picture of your pets all together! They seem to be gossiping ... maybe they're talking about your neighbor's pets, hehe.

And, that table runner looks amazing! (so do the cookied, btw, yum!).

Hugs! :D

Thanks Miki for your kind comments. :) I agree about the pets. They are potentially conspiring about a takeover! Ha, ha...

Have a great week! :)

Hi, Laura!

Thank you so much for your suggestions! I'll definitely add those books to my list of must-reads! ;). I remember reading "Animal Farm" but too long ago. I should give it another try soon. Maybe before I dive into a nother long, long one.

Hugs to you and Tex and Harry, and Lola too so she's not jealous, hehe :p.
